I miss my W900L. Best truck I ever had. Felt like king of the road in that black and chrome baby.
-
Speaking of w900's There's a W900a for sale that's parked along us277 south of Wichita Falls
-
Mine is bight red and lots of chrome. Been driving since 1966 and only work part time now but this is by far the best and nicest truck I have ever had.

A lot of the old Schneider single bunk cabovers do shuttle work for the Mexican fleets who pull trailers in and out of our yard. They're repainted white but you can catch the old Schneider orange that was underneath once in a while.

Mr Ed and joseph1135 Thank this. -
I run a 7 car and 1996 Intl 9600 COE. I rides like a tank with shot shock absorbers- I swear I feel when I run over a shadow on the road LOL. I got it real cheap and can run it til 2016 in Commufornia, which is why I bought it, but I do look forward to the day I gotta get rid of it and move into a conventional. I love the visability and turn radius, but HATE getting dressed laying down and having to climb all over the cab to get something or in / out of the sleeper.

A cabover almost killed me one time. An old 9670. I pulled into a shippers lot early one morning, about 2 hours before they opened. Was tired as hell. Fell asleep behind the wheel. When the shippers arrived in the morning they beat on the door. All I remember is waking up as I rolled across the gravel lot. They said the door popped open, and I stepped out into the air, like I knew what I was doing.
I picked gravel out of my self all day long.Mr Ed Thanks this.
