    Will do. Thanks a ton.

Trooper to trucker? I take it you're a former state trooper? Pretty sweet achievement. Those are tough to get I hear.

Oh ok. Does that mean they train after your CDL or to obtain it?

Honestly, I don't recall. But they're far from the worst company to get experience with, I know that much. At a minimum, they do training with mentors after you get your CDL, which is fairly easy to do through community colleges or private training.

Will for sure check this. I'm about 2 hours away from them. Would you happen to know what the requirements are for Otr and distance from place of residence? I haven't had this properly explained.

They take home the trucks and primarily run the east coast. Requirements say 1 year I believe but if you can go do a face to face meeting with them. Resume etc in hand.

Check Milan Express; maybe some dedicated runs out & back.
Navajo Express maybe still has that dedicated run to Birmingham,AL and back to Jackson,TN every day.
Loves Travel Centers has tanker jobs hauling diesel or DEF to their truckstops.
Pilot/Flying J has the same type jobs as Loves.
All the above hire new cdl grads. Loves & Pilot/Flying J may not advertise they hire new grads, but they do on a case by case basis; be aggressive. Check online.

Milan and Navajo have terminals in Jackson; make a personal visit and ask for an application. Milan used to have their own cdl school in Jackson, so maybe still hire new cdl grads.

Hey guys. I got my CDL A in 2000. I have no T/T experience. A non-trucking company is willing to hire me and pay for a 80 hr refreshers course and pay me while being in school. My question is, Will a refreshers course be enough for me. Being that I never been OTR. regional / dedicated route 3-5 days out. Equipment is 2017 Volvo 780 nice truck. Thxs
