Nice, nice. What truck does the trainer have? Glad you're enjoying it. The trainer must be half-way good for you to be happy.

I'm curious if the swift academy in Idaho will allow a paper permit? Anyone know? Can I have my wife send my plastic permit out to the motel?

yes they allow that, they use to take everyone down the the dol and get the paper one to start training and have the plastic mailed to the terminal

the terminal is right across the street and the little sandwhich shop just down the road by the truck stop is really good..

don't get use to the lewiston terminal it is unlike any other one at swift

I've been a journeyman sheet metal worker for the past 12 years here in washington state. Unfortunately I can't get any work from my union hall. I'm trying to keep my head up and keep a good attitude about this whole change of career move.

keep positive trucking is what you make of it... and you can get a couple good dedicated runs from the lewiston/sumner/troutdale terminals. but get through training and all will be good you have support here at TTR if you have problems but we don't take to whining all that well just sayin..

what part of WA are you from?
