Isn't that a swell intersection? There's a "temporary" stop sign in the middle, that's been there forever. Train tracks on the approach from the east mean you have to stop well back from the intersection, then gauge whether other drivers understand you aren't going to stop.

Then there's the ubiquitous problem. Everybody stares at everybody else and nobody moves for 10 seconds, then everyone goes at the same time, then stop and stare. Rinse. Repeat.

Cool thing the trainer did. Etiquette training is under served.

 

That stop sign is hilarious. It does “work”.

 

Keep doing a delivery over the mountains on I70 to the west side. They keep having the mother of all traffic jams. Today, I swear, eastbound got jammed up for 100 miles. Trucks pulled to the shoulder. Probably trying to save drive time.
The other day they literally landed a helicopter on the westbound side. Just short of the Veterans Memorial tunnels. Backed up clear to Denver.
Geesh!

 

I was just talking with my brother an hour ago. I don't know what it is, but for the last few days it's like Moses has been parting the Red Sea for me.

I ran from OKC to Meltone, TX and back. Hardly had to touch the breaks. Today I ran from OKC to south of Fort ####ing Worth and back. Ran pretty much the speed limit all the way down and back (well, sometimes a tad over the speed limit to get clear of cluster ####s).

 

Have a receiving clerk with... well... let’s say we’ll endowed chest. She’s constantly reacting to everything as if... Let’s just say I feel sorry for her. Rationalizing guys have just jumped her? Anyway, back to the reacting. She took the BOL’s off my clip board. Underneath?..,Doh!
