As far as I'm concerned, it's the ham radio operators that are affected by this, that bothers me. These politicians fall all over themselves, passing, and sometimes even sponsoring laws, with no regard for what the unexpected fall out will be from them. All they care about is telling their constituents how much they have accomplished.

Hey there! Shut up stupid and put your panties back on!:p
I got so that I rarely ran with mine on. Uh- CB I mean! In fact, I doubt that I'd have even bothered with having it in the truck, if it wasn't needed for some customers.
I know many people will disagree with me on this, but I got so sick of hearing the garbage on the CAB, that I opted to keep it off mostly.

Yes, I was surprised to get a response ... wish the fed "representatives" would do the same!

I'm not at all worried. Technically a ham can even have a radar detector with him. The freqs fall in a ham band where we have experimental privileges.

My oversize permit that I just used to run through Tucson said i was REQUIRED to have two-way communication with my pilot car. How does the city say its illegal then REQUIRE me to do it when they issue an oversize permit?

Thanks for posting that! These local politicians are no different from the state or national ones. They are interested in promoting themselves, at the expense of everything/one else. I just love it when they step on their dicks.
