North Carolina troopers are using AI to catch texting truckers

 

great idea!

 

Don't text and drive boys and girls!

 

I wish they would expand it to the cars out there also I see way more of it with the four wheelers on the road

 

Define distracted.

 

I have a little box on the passenger seat with a phone stand for my android. I see these drivers fumbling with their phones in their hands swerving all over the place, going 40 in a 65 while they TCB. They are the ones with the sub 75 IQ's, they were exposed to lead as a child or their mother abused drugs/alcohol while she was pregnant. And when they went to take their CDL test somebody had to read the questions to them. There are too many CDL holders that have slipped through the cracks and their antics ruin it for the 10% that are holding this industry together.

 

Don’t be surprised if they see someone’s junk after they have given driver a ticket earlier lol

 

I wish they would do cars also but, I believe the NC hands free law forbids texting, but, you can watch videos, post of social media and record videos and not be stopped.
They have this technology but, cant see who brings cocaine into one of the most protected rooms in the US????

 

seems like a lost cause, especially at only a $100 fine.

i say make it at least $1,000 and NO pleading it down.

pay up, or get your CDL suspended for at least 60 days.

if this can work with trucks, and can most certainly work for 4 wheelers, so i say....."spread the joy".....

 

You don't need technology to figure that out
