I've not gotten any cards. None of them can compete with the Clark in hixton wi or most kwik trips so I don't bother. And I just flat refuse to spend money with flying j and co.

I get offers in the mail all the time, I'll try to remember and post them up. I do think some are at 1.5 but I usually use them to start the fire without even opening them.

Yes I know some do 1.5% .but the only ones I've ever talked to you have to have multiple trucks because the revenue that you have to run through a month is way higher than one truck could generate .i hardly believe a one truck o/o could make a factoring company give him1.5%

You may be right. I assume they are getting my info via my dot number, so they would know how big I am, but like I said I ain't interested so I don't pay much mind to the magical offers. I'm in the do not factor group.

My dad did it as a band aid fix and paid a lotta money to get out of the contract later on when he finally saw it doesn't help at all. I told him not to do it then as well.

Buying fuel in states with higher tax rates usually is actually cheaper than you think. To calculate raw fuel price, take pump price or discounted pump price, subtract the state fuel tax and that is actual fuel cost. Buying fuel in higher tax states carries over in lower tax states. You actually pay the fuel tax when the fuel is consumer, not at purchase. The quarterly ifta filing shows a refund or fuel tax due. The states with surcharges on fuel tax never enter into cost for fuel buying decisions. You will pay the surcharge regardless where you buy fuel. Indiana, kentucky new mexoco have surcharges I think. For chraper fuel get a nastc fleet one on their qpn network. That will get the single truck owner into the cost plus fuel price.
