    Very true. I have a good shop that I've used for years now and they let me go down in the pit to look everything over.Its a lot easier than me having to roll around on a creeper in my own shop checking things over.

    Plus some folks aren't lucky enough to live near a shop. When my old man had trucks the nearest shop was just over an hour and a half away. Not worth taking the trucks in unless it was something major.

    For most places yes, the one I use, I’ve been going there for years. Same guys for the most part. And I’m under my truck every weekend irregardless. Sometimes I’ll just lay there, have a smoke, and look. Sometimes I grease. A lot of times I have a whisky. :biggrin_255:

    Occasionally I find things that are about to fall off. Recently the plastic clamps that support the transmission cooler lines I spotted loose.
    Shops miss that kind of thing.
