They did just give a raise. But 80k is a bit far.

I thought about it some more and 81k is possible but I doubt more than one or two would make it. The problem is that the loads just don't work out every week, most of you guys already know that, and you would have to run for an entire year. That way you wouldn't have any short weeks. I was on track for about 75k this year but that would include training pay. Of course on track means little in this business as we all know freight can come and go. In my considerable experience with Schneider I would say there is no reason why the average OTR driver couldn't make 65k without training. And I mean the average driver that actually last in this industry, basically the ones that get it. 70 could be realistic but again, don't go home.

So while 81k might be possible it isn't very probable. That's my take on it.

No way Schnieder bulk is paying 81k/yr to company drivers.

    $25 per load/unload
    $10 demurge after 2 hours
    $65 per day layover
    $.45 per mile linehaul

Nobody is doing the equivalent of 180,000 miles per year at SNBC.

It would take a mammoth effort no doubt. They are probably counting full bonuses too.
If it has has been done I would like to see the load history.

They told me .36 cpm to start. Even with .45 no way to get 81K. Maybe a trainer could, IDK.

Yeah some pencil pusher crunches some numbers and they use the highest possible number to try and recruit a few suckers. They don't realize the smarter guys don't buy it and that they are starting a relationship with the driver questioning their honesty from the beginning

I can confirm this; I called the 800 number on the website about their oil field positions.. said they start guys with no exp at .35-.36 cpm in tankers. and it has to be OTR at first for a year before they'll consider you for regional, local, or oil field. Wasn't very attractive in my opinion.

Hey Ethos. I heard a Trimac add this afternoon. It said company drivers average 80K. That is a better way to phrase it. How much are they telling you?
