Old days of trucking vs. New days?

    I used speedographs ( tattle tales) well into the 80's. We turned one in daily with our paperwork and logs. It was best if they both matched, somewhat. Years ago, was no big deal. I heard of some guys drilling a tiny hole @55mph, and insert a small pin, so it wouldn't show faster than 55. I didn't care about that. Most trucks I drove had a hard time getting double nickel anyway.
