Well, I said goodbye to being a linehaul driver, and now am working the city for OD. I made this decision because I needed my weekends back. Yes, I'll probably take a pay cut, but having my weekends back will be worth it. So far, I really like it! I kind of like having more of a varied day over linehaul. Don't get me wrong, linehaul is a gravy job and someday maybe I'll go back, but I really need my weekends back. The only negative is having to drive a Rumblumbia.

 

When did you make the change?

 

No line haul open in Nashville. I wonder if they have some short runs to make extra $$ doing line haul on Saturdays.

What's a combo driver? Dock and drive?
