Any of y’all have an old school dash fans installed?

Been thinking of putting one in this week in the 94’ Pete. Not sure where I would mount it.

I’m talking the nice mounted fan not the clip on ones.

if you have one can you post a picture and tell me if you like it?

I got one .. I can't post a picture of it cause it's in a box 380 miles away .. But it's the old school metal fan about 8" in diameter that mount on a swivel ball on the dash..
I took it out of the truck when I 1st bought the truck cause it would cause my contacts to dry out even if I turned it away and I was worried it was gonna eventually fatigue my dash.. it moves alot of air it would defog the windshield in a hurry on humid nights
If you can find a old school bus from the 70's they all had 2 or 3 in them

Mine hangs from the overhead console, next to the wig-wag.

They still make those fans. Check out a JLG dealer, they mount one on the dash of most of their telehandlers.

That where they should be mounted .. but the butcher tard I bought my truck from had it mounted on top of the plastic dash just to the left of the defrost vents on the corvette dash

That is what I am thinking up on the panel in the middle upside down using the power nuts to power it up. I am running new wires for my CB anyhow.

I’m gonna install one of these in the truck, as hot as it’s been lately.

It will also keep my hair constantly trimmed .

    :)
