I got the official word yesterday afternoon from Prime - they aren't going to accept me, even though it states the suspension had nothing to do with driving. So, looks like I am being forced into CRST. :-( It's not the school I don't like, it's the .25/m that makes me feel cheated. My salary is going to be much less and I will have to team drive...which I also didn't want to do.

Sometimes you have to roll with the punches and make sacrifices to make things happen. If you have to spend a year at CRST you have to do it if that is the avenue you have to take.

I would also recommend you check out www.blowmeuptom.com Tuesdays he has a lawyer who comes on his program and gives free legal advice. And Tom has some pretty #### good advice himself.

It doesn't reflect on the ability of the driver to be able to function as a truck driver, unless the driver is late again with support payments and has his license suspended. The last thing a company will want to risk is having a truck under load, then having the driver put out of service because of a suspended license. For this reason, as noted by so many people on this thread, you really need to pay attention to any issues that may impact your CDL. As my brother so often stated to me, his CDL is really his most valuable possession. With a clean CDL you can earn a living, without it you are out of a career.

I'd like to add that it would be a good idea if you have child support payments to set up automatic withdrawals or payments from your weekly paychecks so both you and the company know that you are taking care of the situation. Monitor it to make sure the payments are being applied and you are up to date.

R U sure that is the reason for not hiring you.

Your location had nothing to do with it ?

Yes absolutely sure. I'm squeaky clean otherwise, plus they gave me the green light on my location.

Hey guys, just so you don't think I'm a creep, he state pays her automatically, whether I send a payment or not...it is the state that I owe, hence their fervent pursuit. We all go through tough times. But I really appreciate everyone's input.

Yet, it is a crime that they can arrest you for, and send you to jail for.

You may not want to see it as such, but many on the legal side of things do.
And there is nothing you can say or do, or think, to change it.

At the very least your wages will be garnished, and your drivers license can be revoked at the whim of whomever wants to do it.

    Don't take it lightly.

Child support is nothing to play around with these days that's for sure.
