    Does he let you back? Are you going to be on tje DG account after training as well or just for training? I hope I get a trainer tjat is doing 48 states, but bottom line I will do whatever is available for training.

    I am still at the hotel in Atlanta, hopefully I hear somethimg by tomorrow. One guy left yesterday, another is leaving tomorrow. Today is the 7th day since I left home. At least we are getting paid :)

    Finally got a trainer!

    He is coming to the hotel tonight and I will meet him. I doubt that we will leave tonight, possibly tomorrow. I hope he is OTR and not dedicated

    Finally on the road!

    Left the hotel last night at 12am. The trainer is running a VT dedicated account (forgot what the abbreviation meant). We picked up in Rome, GA and are heade d for Vero Beach, FL with multiple Florida stops afterwards until tomorrow (17 stops total).

    15 bucks per stop + whatever he gets per mile + whatever he gets from being a trainer. I am sure he clears at least 1500 per week.

    Btw we are carrying countertops for home depot and lowe's

    Hey tonakis, congrats on getting your CDL.

    I live in Fort Lauderdale, and will be attending Sheridan Technical Institute in June. Can you tell me anything about the school, so I know what I'm getting into?
    Also, thank you for the list of companies you called. Makes it easier for guys who live in trucker purgatory to find who hires down here. :biggrin_2559:

    The best school for the best price! Very good insteuctors, variety of trucks and transmissions to drive and 1200-1600 miles of driving on the road. Go for it :)
