Oversize question....Rear overhang permissable on this load? (PA, NY)

    Maybe I need to draw a picture. I will insert one word to clarify for you:

    "...if, presumably I am legal LENGTH with 3' hanging out the back of a 53 when I am 102" wide, why am I not legal LENGTH when I am over width?"

    What I have had to do to get around the "reducible load" issue is to have the mfg. build a laminated beam (just 2x4's) the total length of the load plus 1" and list it on the BOL. that way it is the longest piece and is non reducible. just label it a set up tool or whatever..
