Paccar MX-13 can't find a Dealer to increase Horsepower and Torque

Yeah I'm just finding that out.

Paccar claims there block are bullet proof. But what about the rest of the engine ? Junk!!!!!

 

Engine is great however the stuff attached to it is horrible

 

These guys did mine Performance Diesel Big Boss ECM Tuning turned up to 510 and 1850 they do some other tuning as well all in $2150.

 

So have you found anyone to turn it up?
Did you get a bully dog or other even tuners?

Dealer should be able to update it to 485 or 510 depending on the year and s/n. Some dealers do not like to go higher torque then the drivetrain was rated for. Others do but make you sign so if you blow up the driveline its on you. Try another dealer

 

If you don’t mind me asking how has the tune been working out for you? Have you had any issues with turbos going out or engine problems?

I keep thinking about doing a delete on my truck. I have a 2012 T-660 with an EPA 2010 Paccar MX13 and it is frustrating to have to keep dealing with emissions check engine lights and downtime. Has your truck been running fine since?
