In Syracuse, NY overnight... Truck still in shop for Bambi repairs... Bumper and radiator done, but an AC hose got a hole in it and they need to change it and recharge the system... We're going to rent a car and go see the sights :)

On top of Parleys Summit making sure what's left of my load will make it down with me and wondering:back when mules and horses did all the work...How many lbs of poop did they lay down pulling a wagon up this grade? :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559: (bet it wasn't funny for them though)..

Did another lap thru PA to pay some bills. Of course I do a walk around on arrival at Aldi's in Saxonburg and find a flat on the trailer. I'll be paying less bills with this trip. Anyway, so much for getting a fitful 5 hours of sleep, now that I need to get tire service instead. Good news is this is the last of the less than great looking tires that came with this trailer when I bought it last Aug. The blowout was still intact except for a new window in the sidewall to see the air inside, so must've popped on the last turns into the DC.

Left there early this morning and stopped briefly at the Carlisle Petro to donate some pallet chips to the woods near the back row. Quite the car show going on down the road past the turnpike ramps today. Looked like it sucked a little for westbound traffic (not me!). Too bad no time to stop and check it out. I've heard about it before but never went.

Another quick stop at the scale/rest area at the 79mm on I-81 to check ground pressure and press the start button on the reefer. Smokey waved my empty truck thru, no doubt subdued by my surly glance. Or, impressed by the shiny new yellow cvsa stickers from my passing level 1 on Wed in VA. LOL

Now on my door in Leesport, PA two hours early. So I can wait that and some more hours before they start loading. How long they take will determine where I stop for 10 on the way home, having used up 4.75 hrs getting here. Gorged on some McNasty, having all those empty calories cancelled out by the 1/2 mile walk to and from to enjoy it. I think if I just put the laptop away and take a nap, the load will fly on the truck in minutes. That seemed to work back at Aldi's. Soon as I'd close my eyes, someone pounding on the door wanting me to move or something.
