At the Pilot in Dalton Ga..off of I75
I have a 5pm delivery time tomorrow at Sysco in Newnan, Ga.... so gotta go around Atlanta... im about 2 hrs away.... I guess ill leave around 1 or 2. Then I have to go pick up a preloaded trailer in Murrayville Ga... all the way back to the north side of Atlanta headed to Denver. Should be a fun day

Had a chance to make it make it further south.... but a long traffic jam on 24 north of Nashville for a pothole filling crew, a traffic jam around Chattanooga...... and 2 really slow weigh stations made Dalton the best I could do....

Is 3 hrs enough for a 2 hr ride in Atlanta?

At least i can sleep in, get a shower and clean up the truck before i hit the road....

3 hrs is enough unless there's some pretty bad accident... :biggrin_2552:

I started my morning in a rush hr Dallas traffic:biggrin_2552: and then continued thru more traffic jams... in Waco, Austin... that I-35 TX sucks... :biggrin_2552:

Was able to deliver the load this evening and now I am parked at a lovely Love's on US-77 way south in TX... there must be an air base nearby cause there were jets flying by all the time...

I would give myself more than an hour cushion if you are hitting Atlanta at time of day. Better safe than sorry.
