For me I see 1861 as one of America's if not mankind's greatest moments.
When have several hundred thousand men fought and died and untold more horrible wounded not for thier own freedom but for the freedom of another race entirely. Now that's amazing.

I understand it wasn't all about slavery for the south as well as northern aggression. Heck if people were burning my city down I'd fight back too, who cares at that point about politics. But for most of the Yankees it was about slavery. Just look at their journals.

I used to feel the same way because that's what I was taught my whole life. Once I heard the case from the other side I woke up. Pushing tyranny based on opinion is not freedom and nothing the North did was constitutionally legal. Davis' book is brimming with indisputable documentary evidence. Since we continue to allow the majority's politically correct opinions to dictate who gets freedom and who doesn't we'll always remain slaves if we disagree. This is how tyranny works. The majority or stronger side smashes their opponents. That's the exact opposite of what this country was supposed to be about. Documents going all the way back to the Articles of Confederation make it clear. Political Correctness by itself alone is a form of tyranny.

Assuming the mandate sticks. Which I personally doubt. Do you think. In the truck industry. That being a contractor. Is a loophole for drivers and companies? The contractor is not an employee. Thus if you have 99 employees and the rest contractors. You're exempt. As a contractor. You're not their employee. So they don't have to worry about fines or testing. If you don't want to get vaccinated. Thoughts on the legalities.

1099 but with accounting help as well as a pool for insurance. Might work.

 

If you are lease purchase you better believe it will apply, they aren't truly ICs, only glorified company drivers. Now for the true OOs with their own authority, or someone who bought their own truck, but leased on to a company, that may be a different story. The latter could probably get forced out by a company though.
