It’s all PR for the families so they think they got justice. They could have given him 40 years knowing he’ll likely never walk out of there just the same but they made an absurd sentence to appease the public.

No, he could NOT have gotten a lighter sentence. It's already the very minimum allowed to be given out for the chargers he was guilty of.

 

Thank you for telling me. Much obliged. What I’m saying is he’s going to die in there, the number is besides the point whether it’s 50 or 100. I think keeps people locked up until they die and pay for that is insane. If you’ve sentenced for him to die in there they should speed up the process and save a few dollars over the years.

 

Or kills their mom or child.
