Hope they figure it out, but in this industry i imagine a hurt or ruined reputation is very hard to recover from...

    For your amusement pleasures...

Load today, drop and hook was preloaded into trailer TA9crap.
Had a sticker on it saying "DO NOT LOAD, LEAKS".
Of course it was loaded anyway and of course Schneider knew nothing about the problem. It had a massive air leak.

reason is tbe totes that can be transported in vans. tank and haz can be tedious to get but can expand the possible loads for a company driver.

I only ran 2 haz loads in almost 5 yrs with SNI, but they allowed to be hired immediately at my new job.

so yes, tank endorsement is helpful a is Haz, TWIC only if position requires it.

They know cheap rates makes all the wrongs right again.

How the hell did that happen??? Was the trailer a little too high? Or did they catch the side?

100% correct. I was bulk company for 10 years. I switched to van IC shortly after the switch to bulk workflow. Was a disaster.

It makes absolutely no sense NOT to have the tanker endorsement. In Illinois at least all you have to do is pass the ridiculously easy 20 question permit test and you have the tanker endorsement.

Hazmat on the other hand depends. Not really worth the hassle for van IMO and definitely pointless if you're pulling reefer but if you're planning on tanks or intermodal you're pretty much going to need hazmat. Additional hassle with finger printing and annoying background checks in addition to increased scrutiny by DOT on placarded loads.
