I own the truck so it's pretty simple on my end. 2 weeks notice isn't needed. Just decided not to burn any bridges. Never know who you might run into or worse need a favor from in the future. In reality I think they could not have cared less. Lol. Probably was the 10th driver of the day who told them I was leaving, and they probably had ten new drivers who joined his board today as well.

I had the same impression when I talked to my ICA about the CMS & told her I wasn't adding it to my truck so this would probably be a deal breaker for me. She just said key me know what you decide.

Of course I really didn't expect them to care. I'm just a disposable piece in their game.

That's all I got out of michelins unless they magically made tires that much better in the last 10 years.

Actually every one makes tires much much better today than they did ten or fifteen years ago.

Actually, for the Choice board, buck60 a mi. is on the high side. I'm surprised those loads are not snatched for company trucks. You can hit any lane or location and find an abundance of loads below a buck and hovering 1.10 - 1.30 mi. Few loads nearing a 2.00 +/- combination of live load/unload maybe 1 drop/hook for 400 mi with a 4 day window of fixed appointments. Yep real money makers there. There's reason a load sits and not picked up for company truck. A complete and total sham!

Right on... best of good fortune to you on your move. You will be better for it! More right than wrong. What is wrong is how SNI controls how much revenue an IC can generate.

Got a message today telling us to not call in unless it is an absolute emergency.

I may not be remembering this correctly, but it seemed to me that when I started as an IC back in 2013, My ICA had something like 60 or so IC's in her group, or maybe each ICR had 50-60 IC's.

The message today stated that there are 220 IC's in our group. I was a bit surprised by that number.

    Seems legit.
Not only are they cutting rates but they've been cutting staff.
