But when i said basically the same thing y'all accused me of being a paid recruiter and not a owner operator.
You and others attacked me for comments like 'man you guys put up with a lot of bs'

That's why I'm rooting for this Celadon collapse so we can get all these clowns hauling for pennies on the dollar out of here...

There are still a ton of companies out there leasing on drivers and paying peanuts. I just spoke with a driver while fueling yesterday pulling for 99cpm+ fsc. There is a lot of BS over here, but it is still probably the best LEASE PURCHASE program out there.

The thing is tho Celadon is letting numerous guys lease trucks and lease onto these companies picking load board freight and don't have a clue on what they're doing. Yes I know Swiftie and Werner will still have their thing but at least they're running their precious 1.33 mile freight...

I'll give you example of why what Celadon does is killing the market, A young man who graduated with my cousin went to lease thru Celadon. They let him pick his own loads thru their load boards and others. One day he was on a app and it let him bid on freight. There was a load from Chicago to Harrisonburg, VA, he made a bid, he got the load. Heck he said the broker called him 5 seconds after he sent in the bid, told him he'll even give him an extra 10 cents for his troubles..... Wanna know what he originally bidded?? $1.75 a mile, yes Celadon must go!!!!

Because you seem to have it instilled in your brain that unless you're running for one of the 4 or 5 companies you list, you're just another dumb driver running for peanuts.

No. I didn't say you guys were running for peanuts. I said you were not being treated as a business partner by your carrier. Do you make as much as someone running for one of those good carriers i listed, nope. But its also not 90 cpm plus some piddly wink fsc from a carrier like Stevens or ffe. My comments were never really about money, sure some were, but the vast majority was about the bs. Being treated as basically a company driver and not a truck owner.

Yes, I'm still cashing checks. I had brake drums put on my drives at Carlise OC. Cost me $547 to have them put on. Still not bad take home

This check is for last week. Now, I'm at the house. I have to go to my part time job for 3 weeks. Will be back on the road June 8.
