There's a huge difference between "I escaped the NE for $x.xx a mi", and "I got a load from city z to city y that pays $xxxx.xx"

And as has been mentioned, posting that stuff in an open forum puts you in breach of contract with SNI. Its called nondisclosure of proprietary information, and you signed it.

That makes you liable for any harm that comes to SNI from your making that info public. If you can't figure out how that can happen, you truly are naive. And SNI would be well within their rights to come after you for it, and don't think for a second they couldn't.

    right... meanwhile..............

We can go on and on here....

Many times other ICs posted rates per city and even customers and NOBODY says a word.....
But if Freightwipper does... let the trolling begin!
    I see how it is.

I won't bother arguing with you about it. I've already seen you already pretty much know everything.

Just trying to give some helpful advise and have my own interests to protect.

You really don't see the difference between that and giving specifics??

You really don't see the specifics of them posting rates from place to another? Plus I see who a customer was and where a load was brokered through in those posts. (all no no's right?)
    Seems pretty specific to me...

My point is it's been done by other ICs and nobody has said anything.
That was just from a quick search too.

Posting rates is not the same as posting customers.

    Ok. Now I'm really done

And one of those posts I quoted named a customer.. nobody beached him out.
Do I need to quote even more?

Anyways if you go back I didn't name the customer along with the rate... later on I said so and so has overnight parking.

Here's the deal which maybe some of you are missing..
There's been posts long before and since I've came here of ICs posting rates per location, customers blah blah blah and nobody said anything about it.
How come everybody else got a free pass? That's what I'd like to know.
If that was some forbidden topic/discussion that was made evident on this forum then I would have handled my own postings differently.

You can give away all the trade secrets you want. I want go into the northeast. Now if you want to divulge some secrets about the Midwest and south..... I'm all ears.

I simply run regionally in both areas and go with whatever is best that pops up.
There's nothing magical or top secret about that.
Other drivers here do better than me, I'm still somewhat of a noob.

If I try to run my business like the next guy, I would go broke. So I dont care what someone post. I netted $3500 this week and netted $3000 last week. That's with no help from the Internet.
