I left for a dollar a mile but it was only like 370 miles all miles.. just drove enough to escape the gravitational pull of the black hole.

I've been here almost a year and I never left the Northeast for less than $1.40 until now.
It just wasn't worth me running regionally waiting for something decent to get me out. I gave it a few days but it was just dead over there. I refuse to stay in the Northeast running for $1.50-$1.60, ain't happening.

    any laptop is fine....
if you use a phone or tablet then you'll be on the mobile app load board which isn't as user friendly.

Once you get used to the mobile app it isn't so bad. But yeah I prefer to use the laptop when I actually dig it out.

It's okay for what it is but only being able to see 5 loads per page sucks and it doesn't show shipment remarks on the load.

That is if you could even get a job here.
Supposedly Schneider has stopped hiring ICs and will only fill in the holes when drivers leave per what someone was told in class this week that posted here.
If there wasn't decent work here I'd leave as I'm sure others would as well.
Biggest problem for me is I've been spoiled from the good times when the money was flowing.

Not to mention the ICs driving around with their phone booking loads. This crap started getting bad about two weeks after they started all this mobile bs.

I don't know for sure but something is going on with how fast loads are gone.
Even today, I was sitting in my drivers seat having a pizza at a Flying J and got a load alert sent to my truck. By the time I went to my sleeper, opened my laptop and signed in the load was gone. Soo ridiculous!
Only time that crap has actually been helpful for me is when I set an alert to find loads home.
