There is the pick up city, and estimated time for live load/unloads. Drop and hooks are almost always listed at 30 minutes.
Once the load is assigned to you then you get all the customer info.

    BigNate Thanks this.

Ok i can work with that, I have some cities I go to that have a good and a bad receiver less than a mile apart. 30 min unloading compared to 5 plus hour

I'm not greedy, I'm running a successful operation and saying no to cheap freight :)

If I was greedy i'd be doing flatbed or ice road trucking lol.
I like to do well without a bunch of stress.

My grandpa retired from military, a paper mill, and sold a very successful hardware business we ran for about 15 years as a family. He still plays in stock market. He has no worries as far as money is concerned that's where I hope to be one day

If it's a big city like Chicongo it's tough sometimes figure out the customer even if you've done the same exact load before.
Usually it's not that hard if it's not a big city.

Sometimes if I've never been there before i can figure out the customer just by the city and looking up the city on satellite view maps.

Take a "drop and hook" in Ashley, Indiana for example. Look around the town and see what trucking customer has a bunch of trailers all over the place.
That's one for example i looked up and was easy to figure out just by knowing the city.

That is definitely something they need to adjust on the load board
