Some drivers probably wouldn't notice that change in policy.

I was told by gary, IN but just finished talking to my ICA and she said it will be compnay wide at all OC's starting May 2nd. She suspects there will be a message coming out to all drivers when we get closer to May 2nd.

In that same conversation with my ICA, I was told they just fired today all of the market cordinators and that the internal messages from corporate is this year is going to be worse for schneider than it was in 2008. They have been letting a lot of staff go at schneider over the past couple of months to try and cut costs but it was sounding like that wasn't going to be enough.

This starts to make me wonder how financially sound Schnieder is.

Insurance issues, lol! Like the guys won't just BT the big truck when they need groceries. Good God there is no decency anymore.

My question would be this... Then what do we do about the insurance we have on our trucks since the insurance card that we use applies to all vehicles operated under Schneider

I don't know the answer to that question. I asked the same thing and all I got was well it's because we are not company drivers and company car is is a company driver perk. It's more and more about driver classification now in a reactive response to the fedex ruling last year.
