I can locate any known point to within 100 feet and you say the technology isn't there!

If we as drivers keep believing the lies or keep letting them get away with lying to us drivers then we'll never get ahead.

Oh and yes the technology is available just use Jill she takes us to within 100 yards of all the customers.

The problem is you could use 5 different freaking programs and they would all give you 5 different mileages...

They could use a more accurate program if they wanted to. Many companies are figuring on practical route now. But, Schneider doesn't do it because it allows them to under pay their company drivers because their drivers are driving a bunch of unpaid miles.
Also, it makes the loads on the load board look better than they are.
    Win , win for Schneider.

I know how they do it and also why but FW said the technology doesn't exist to do it better. Everytime I punch in address A to address B I get within 100 feet or so and I'm not a multi billion dollar corporation.

It's time we all as drivers realize NO company is doing what's best for the driver, nor do I expect it to be.

However there's no reason as drivers we should be making excuses as to why we're being ripped off.

yeah, well, I think the folks at Swift are about to learn a hard lesson about that kind of crap.......
    http://cdllife.com/2013/top-trucking-news/swift-facing-class-action-lawsuit-over-mileage-pay/

full disclosure......I like Schneider a lot, and they've been very good to me. But the one thing that gets under my skin is gypping me on miles.......like TennMan said, we have the technology to put location +/- 100 feet of each other. There's no sense whatsoever in being +/- 10% of the total miles run (sometimes more). If they don't do it (pay and charge the proper miles), it's because they don't want to. Really, really sad.
