    That's definitely good.

    He's not talking about SNI.

2 reasons i can think of, A: some guys just don't have a clue how to make money, you get them at every company. Just like how a few post up people are snagging 1.15 a mile loads of your board as fast as they post. And B: those of us with a clue that have done this a while are a bunch of spoiled brats and used to 2.50 a mile being the low standard. Gotta remember when the economy is good spot market open deck rates are generally fantastic. When the economy slows down the rates fall back to just a bit more than van or reefer, and truck drivers being truck drivers we like to whine and cry about how horrible things are. Case in point, just a few years ago i had no problem getting over 3 bucks a mile from Chicagoland to south Florida, today those same loads pay right at 2, maybe a little less some weeks. That's a difference of over 1500 dollars on a two day run. Even tho I'm still making good money at today's rate, it's sickening to think about how much i used to make on the exact same run. Makes me ##### and moan the whole way home.

Correct. That region sucks. I only go there when the head haul pays fantastic. I turned down a load for tomorrow going to ok city or of Jupiter that paid 1.95 and only weighed 12k lbs cause i know coming out I'll only get 1.50. Not worth leaving the house for when i can run 50 mile short hauls here and get 500 to 600 a pop for them.

That's what green bay said, I just repeated it. And truthfully loads that go to company trucks I believe they never show confirmed to us they just disappear.

    Just my opinion.

So, a company driver could have taken that 1.15 load?

Mercer van is extremely thin, I was going there to do van but had friend go there before me to do flatbed. He share his login with me. There is no lot of loads and the loads there don't pay much. If you are going to mercer go do flatbed. There is Lot more loads and they pay better.

Going Van with Mercer would be a mistake. Im behind on this thread but if your fighting for 1.15 loads with Schneider you're simply in the wrong market. I helped a guy put together a string of loads averaging over $2 over 3 days of running roughly 750 -800 a day

Freightpicker.com is that website made by former choice op who's program automatically assigns loads that ops save...that's one problem..
