So well I'm now on the team board o_O
Unlike the solo side there's lots to Cali even from Texas to the east coast.

Yeah, that's why I decided to get a portable washing machine for my truck. I just finished a load of laundry and it'll be dry by morning. Works prefect and gets it clean. Plus this way I know what's been in the washer and don't need to worry about what creepy crawly thing I'll pick up from the slob that doesn't know how to do laundry or shower for that matter!

Machine cost $110 and plugs right in to my power invertor just fine. Only uses 340 watts so not a huge power draw. Plus all that soapy water I dump in the parking lot helps clean the pee smell away so I'm doing a service to the environment :biggrin_25523:

Well first, there is parking along Miliken and the side streets, tons of warehouses and parking.

Second of all else fails find a Walmart, or a Target, or local grocery store, or a Mall.

Walmart has everything a truck stop does, but only cheaper. I sleep at Walmart all the time. There is one in Montebello with super easy access. There is one in Chino I go to, and one in Fullerton and Brea.

And the best thing? They're all free.

And as long as we're talking gross truck stop washing machines, the towels are also gross. I always sniff the towels before I jump in. I got an extra in my bag of they stink.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've got two people and a dog in here. There ain't any room for a washer in here lol. Plus it would take forever to wash all the crap we got. I would have clothes and sheets hanging all over the place! If I was a solo I would be interested for sure.

It doesn't take that long that wash a load in the machine, but I can understand having that full of a truck, finding room for it would be difficult. You could always try washing the clothes in the shower with you everyday :biggrin_255:, lol

Exactly what i was thinking. Just pack enough to last long enough till you get back home. Even two weeks of clothing can be packed into one duffel bag. The biggest issue i have is forgetting about that whole winter thing they get up north. It never fails, every winter my first trip up north is a bit on the chilly side. You learn to tarp really fast when you are in Chicago in December and the warmest clothing in the truck is a short sleeve polo.
