Picking Up by Robin Lang all about Department of Sanitation New York City

It's weird I was at the budget meeting and I'm not that old looking, I'm 31, but I only look like I'm a lot younger. So people see me and they don't know how to take me so I was talking with the service director and spoke briefly with the mayor and I think the man who is city council president. Hob knobbing with the local politicians. Every person I talked to I had to say my address because they were all looking at me like who the F are you lol!

 

Yeah that’s what it was like! I sat through that 3 hour meeting lol!
What’s so stupid is the city has this huge white elephant recreation center that was built in 2008 that was built real crappy and they need a new swimming pool floor and the roof is shot. 2008 and they are ready to tear the place down millions of dollars down the hole. Yet we have to use cheap/shoddy contracted garbage pick up it’s stupid. That’s a losing issue though I didn’t bother talking to the service director about that, because they already have there minds made up.

 

The former mayor hired this hill jack outfit totally not legit at all to do the swimming pool. The city council president at the time had an absolute fit about it. That pool is now falling apart and needs a redo. They said it would take 3 weeks to fix it so you figure a month.

I work for a broad line food distributor which is closely linked with the restaurant and bar and school industry we’re getting it on the chin right now. I hope congress bails is out the same way they do with the airlines (eye roll). I made record money last year. This year I’ll be in the toilet money wise. I’ve already started to think about part time work at one of the busy trucking sectors.

 

We’re all shut down here in Ohio it’s a huge mess. They have practically ruined the states economy over this. Bars and Restaurants are on pick up and delivery only all becAuse 70 people have died from this? Even though 1000000xs more then that have died of flu and nobody has batted an eye at that.
