There's an ongoing problem with new drivers hitting other trucks trying to get in or out of the tight parking spaces.

Very difficult to jack a 70' rig backwards between two other 70' rigs. About 6" clearance between each rig's mirrors when you're done. For real fun, do it dead tired on a dark and rainy night.

And most truck drivers are newbies. Turnover rate is near 100 percent a year in this industry. So they hit you, taking off the mirrors, or wiping out the whole hood.

If you really want to understand the problem, go down to the truck stop and watch trucks back. You'll learn a lot.

And then you'll probably not want to park your expensive rv there. Especially with the slider out.

I've always been impressed at how you all can maneuver into those tiny spaces next to each other

My husband just got nailed by a guy in Loves last week. He was parked with two empty spaces next to him, sleeping. Guy rolls up, attempts to back into the space next to his passenger side and backed right into the bumper. It's an ugly mess, but only cosmetic.

My comment on truck stops. Have your RV crowd cruise the side that cars fuel at. See if you can safely park. If you have to park in the semi lot. Look for the "cab only" or a spot that won't hurt your vehicle or double up two RVs back to back in a spot.

Ok. We can get off the truck stop subject for now.

    Now driving .

I suggest they watch us , by all means if we stop driving due to high wind you do also. Wether your a diesel pusher or pulling a camper. Watch wind and weather carefully. By all means go into a truck stop. Ask the cashier or any driver, if it(weather or wind) is coming from the direction your heading. "How was the road that direction?".
I'd rather have an RV'er ask if it's good or bad then find him on his side along a highway or in the highway.
Advise your followers to not cross i-80 in Wyoming unless they have 5-10yrs of RV driving experience.

    Wyoming is no joke.
If your feeling unsafe to drive the speed limit. Hazard lights under 45mph. Doesn't matter uphill, down hill or flat land. And never stop moving if caught in wind. Slow down but keep moving to and offramp go and park under a bridge.
Or travel to a truck stop,Walmart or any large mall parking lot.
If your climbing mountians. Any more than 5 cars find a turn out. If we approach you rapidly in mountain areas. Find a safe solid space and pull over. Don't pull off onto a soft shoulder only hard surfaces.

Always keep your head moving. If we pull up next to you we may of spotted an open compartment or dragging hose.
If you see a flatbed trailer with a strap flapping.
Write a note big letters. No novel. "Strap loose" or "check load" even. " Bad tire on trailer"
Show to driver carefully and pull away if you can speed up.

If your having issues with your vehicle on the road.

Please try and move way off the road away from white line. Or even try for an offramp. When we pass with your vehicle next to the road that close. It can suck a person right under our truck. We move over to the left to give you space. Do the same if we are on the side of road. Either slow down or move over.

Also don't stay next to a semi. Either stay behind him or pass him. Pick your space and pass.

    Truck stops fuel island
If your a diesel pusher pick a lane and fuel,. We don't own the truck stop. Our semi pumps are way faster than the car side. You throwing in 50 or 100 gallons is not an issue. But after fueling PULL UP to clear the pump for next vehicle. If you want go over to car side and park if your shopping or pee stop.

This is a few things off the top I could think of.

Yeah i'm assuming when he read your first post didn't read it properly or just can't read i think as soon as he saw the letters RV went into a raging fit and this was his opportunity to take it out on you good on you for trying to help educate the uneducated some people unfortunately have to learn the hard way hopefully more potential RV operators will do some careful thinking before they choose to go out on the road.

Most trucks are speed limited. Tell your RV pals to pick the big open spots between the wolf packs of trucks.

If they go to a truck stop give us a lot of room if we’re making a right turn, they can hang back from the light in the left turn lane. We don’t want to hit them or ride up the curb and hit a pole or worse a human.

    Ice cream is good too.
