I do irregular route, various customers, and stay pretty much Indiana to Nebraska (E-W) and I94 to I40 (N-S). My average load is around 550, give or take. I take the shorter runs as they pay me more per mile than the longer runs. I am home every weekend and holidays, by the house a couple of times a week (central Iowa). about 35% drop and hook. Very few big delay stops like grocery warehouses, big box stores, etc. Most is plant to plant type of freight. In and out quick and can almost always do a rest break on the property, so I don't have to waste time at truck stops.

Net last year was a shade under $70,000. Based on first quarter, this year will be better if that holds up.
