I'm all for wearing seat belts, government laws I could do without but all I know is that with a seatbelt, it makes cleaning up the scene of an accident easier

I used to never wear a seatbelt when i was younger. Then one day i was riding with a friend and we got in an accident. My head spiderwebbed the windshield. :biggrin_2559: Talk about a headache. Ever since then i have worn a seatbelt. If you ride in my car you wear a seatbelt, if you don't you don't ride with me.
As far as it being a law....... I don't think it should be a law, people should be able to make their own decision. Even though in my mind i cant see why anyone wouldn't. But then again i learned my lesson the hard way eh.

Same in Indiana. FYI, the federal government forced states to make seatbelt laws through extortion. The states could either have seatbelt laws or not have federal highway funds. And you think roads in Kansas are bad now....? hehe.

Oh yeah, Oklahoma has an exemption...if you're in a farm truck you don't have to wear a seatbelt. To register a pickup truck as a farm truck, all you have to do is own 5 acres of land. haha.

    Baack Thanks this.
