I've had a 150$ Sony for about 4 years now. Thing has taken a beating and still works flawlessly

I had one of each and the bottom one will be more durable for you, as I assume you will be switching tractors at meet points. I got tired of looking at the passenger seat to change the radio and simplified my box. My stereo was mounted on top of the CB with a handle on the top to carry it. I bungee chord attached it to the dash via the defrost vents. OSHA probably wouldn’t approve as it could have been a projectile in an accident. With today’s Bluetooth technology you can probably do something with your IPhone much easier than a box. Our tractors had stereo speakers, radio antenna co-ax, CB antenna co-ax and a place to plug the wires in for speakers and power. LTL usually doesn’t have speakers so you may want a box with your own speakers if something small via your phone doesn’t work better. 23EF79FF-DF32-491F-B27B-71F801F0AD69.png

We use something like this at the pool and it works all day on a charge. Might be the easiest setup for you. 0E3A0FA3-7EAE-4944-BE05-D1F3CA1C7012.png

When I was a Yard Jockey I used a portable bluetooth speaker. I think is nice hanging in front of you or on the dashboard. Some of these actually have a long battery life or you can plug them in to a power adapter.

It's nice to go wireless and have less cables and run whatever music, podcast, or other streaming service you want. It's also so much smaller.
