I have to admit it that one made me laugh out loud. Because I was thinking the same thing

    A few thoughts ...

There is no recession going to happen in the next year.

The us economy isn't dependent on the us trucking industry or the fmcsa

Buy what you want, pre-emissions, that does not matter.

What does matter is you learning this is a business and you can find opertunities all over in a recession. But the only way to survive is to treat this as a business and have the right reserves on hand and that isn't credit cards.

Oh and to add to this, the stock market IS NOT an indicator of the economy's health.

Pay no attention to the stock market. As the coked out stock broker said on The Wolf of Wall Street, “ nobody knows if a stock will go up, down, or sideways, especially not stock brokers”.

Also, I don’t take economic or business advice from somebody that thinks it is wise to lease a truck from Prime.

It’s all relevant and manipulated. The big boost man inflation hasn’t been seen for a long time. Either way economists find a silver lining in everything. Interesting but irrelevant to the working class. Work hard stay out of debt as much as possible. The rest is out of anyone’s control.

if you’re referring to the content law it’s still 50%+ %. Just saw a new Mustang 51% made in USA. What a joke. Parts are Parts anymore unfortunately, yet most Americans are so self defeating they think other countries manufacturing is Superior. Globally each Country will build enough Cars for their own Market. Whether US manufacturers overseas or Honda in Ohio

That right there destroys any iota of credibility you would have if you told me water is wet.

This is excellent advice Heavy. Regardless of the economy, people will always need medicine, pharmaceuticals, and of course food. And then there is pet food and booze, both of which are pretty much recession proof.

Who did you lease on with? What if he leased with Schneider, or Mercer, or Great Wide? Did you ever work for Prime? Better yet, did any one the drivers bashing the Prime driver ever work for Prime? Or is everyone forming their opinions of TTR, or from drivers who had no business leasing in the first place? Just curious.

I just can't agree with this one. I do not believe the Fed is purposely sabotaging our country...that makes absolutely no sense...the Fed lives in this country too.

How about tell GM they owe the taxpayers, well how much did they get from us in 2008 anyway? Since they're going to take our money and then shut the jobs here down, they should told that'll never happen again. How many of these jobs being lost are directly caused by interest rates going up and fewer people buying new cars?
