Did my first flatbed load Monday. It was just a one off deal, power only. Picked up the flatbed at a trailer rental place then off to the shipper. A whole pallet stacked with brand new in the box straps, bungees and tarps was waiting on us at the shipper. It was one of 7 loads. Some kind of titanium cooling tubes for a power plant.
Took 4 hours to load all 9 crates @ 42,000 lbs, strapped, and tarped. Learned a lot and had fun. Made some mistakes. I'll do better next time. That's the first time I have ever loaded a truck and then stood back proud of the job. I mean you don't really admire the doors on a box trailer after you shut them right?

Congrats, man. I'm probably gonna be right behind you (again) this winter, when asphalt shuts down. Looks good~! (but what do I know.....)
