Did some window shopping on the local C-list and saw a mini excavator like that for sale.

You're right, I'd rather buy a few shovels and hire some help. Have some beer money left over that way.

 

Yeah, I've thought long and hard about a mini-ex. Something around a 20k lbs machine. Something small enough to get around, but large enough to actually be useful. I just can't justify it. I am really considering a mini telehandler. They are just super handy. Something like this. They have a 3rd function hydraulic function. Maybe this upcoming year.

 

My wife saw that picture of the telehandlers and said

"What are those? They look like angry dune buggies"

 

It's not the size of the tool, it's how you use it. Or something.
