At my last job as a forklift operator I always tried to help drivers pull their tarps off, fold them up and pick up the bungees if I had time. It's a lot faster and easier to fold a tarp with 2 people than by yourself. Hopefully once I get out on the road someone reciprocate the favor.

    right parts but wrong trucks

Didn’t realize you gave up the wing loads.

    goofy trailers for sure

Wouldn’t mind the end product in my very large drive way

I’m still a part of that team but we’ve diversified what we haul. We used to haul the wings for 4 different planes on various trailers, Now we only haul one. One is no longer built, one moved production overseas, and one now builds the wings on site.

Bombardier stuff? If so I worked for them for 21+ years. The last few became painful and then they sold our training division off and then it got even worse lol.

Usually sitting on a pallet at the yard half way across the country. Rarely are the big 60x40 tarps where they need to be. The long short box with the orange d rings, those tarps stay at the shipper, usually. It’s not uncommon to use multiple regular tarps on a big load. I usually have a 16x18 in the headache rack, a 16x32 on top of the rack, both are my personal tarps, and a 25x30 with flap rolled op on the cat walk. Then we keep a full set of 8’ drops on the trailer.
