Sounds like nothing has changed in 15 years. Think that was the last time I did anything with menards.

It is isn’t it. Even being one of the other fine Paccar products that one is a seriously nice piece of equipment.

You’ll need a TWIC card. It’s not too bad, not as bad as Long Beach. It’s a little tight, and depending on which boat your load come in on, the shipping office can be one of two offices that are on opposite ends of the port, and you need to know the name of the boat, and check your BOL to determine which is which.

Thank u for the info sir. Do u have ur own authority? I do have a twic card, but I'm not sure what paperwork I would need to submit to get my company set up with the ports. I just remember going to seattle a couple years ago and it took 6 hours to get thru the gate because the company I was with, DSV, didn't have something set up correctly with the port so they wouldn't let me in. I think you have to have SCAC number as well? Which I don't have

I haven’t needed anything other than my TWIC at Hueneme. At Long Beach you’ll need to get a day pass, and you’ll have to register your truck with carb for your clean air pass, and get your SCAC. No biggie. Yes I’ve got my own authority.
