I don’t know if they were rolled over as far as the Cats. More room around them made the Cummins a little easier to work on anyway. Anything on an LT was an agony though. Cousin had one with a 290 in it. I remember wrenches and curse words flying around that truck quite a bit. Long time ago now but I think it was that truck only had 2 Jake heads on it. I know there was one short hooded thing here years ago that a Jake spacer wouldn’t fit on the back head with the engine in the cab. Might have been that one.

Pieces of a Cat 789 mining truck headed to the port in Brunswick GA to be shipped to South America. For once the in and out at the port went quickly!

Off to get more yellow machines and take them to their new homes in MN :).

Some gas pipe and some pads... I had some time to kill so I experimented with building a “bridge” over the pipe.

Or has the China made LED's that just splatter light everywhere and blinds you, or puts 4 low beams in a 4 headlight system and runs their brights.

Wild isn’t it. When I started out you could be shamed off a lane for having your high beams in peoples faces. Was certainly something you apologized for if you could raise them on the radio. Very little courtesy of any kind left in anything anymore. That’s something sad that goes way beyond the trucking industry.

Yeah that's what I narrowed it down to.

Almost thinking of just adding a quick connect and being done with it

If we get the truck out of the shop I might fix that. I've been stuck up in a hotel collecting breakdown.
