These pieces of steel pipe are about 4’ long, they weight about 1200#’s each. I know the first piece in front need 2 straps, however, what about the ones that follow ? Seen one individual that used 2 in front, single on all in the middle and 2 at the end. I didn’t chance it and had time to spare. So I did 2 on each.

Need 2 per piece unless they are blocked or braced from forward movement.
If they were 100lbs lighter you could legally only use 1.
Now the real question: is a cop going to be able to tell what each piece weighs on the side of the road?

Yep you did it the right way.

Nice little double drop in Indiana to end my week. Back pc went to Warsaw, and the rest to the south side of Indianapolis.

I would have used 2 straps each like you did, if for no other reason than to make it look good. Only takes an extra couple minutes to make it look good!CAXPT, beastr123, Diesel Dave and 5 others Thank this.

About the only thing I would have done differently, is to not alternate the straps on each unit. Would have pull one way on a single piece. Alternating on small pieces like that puts a twisting force on them. Still a good job.
