I dont know about all the rest. But the guys working on the plane were straight out of the Kremlin. No english at all. They got it done.

Besides my load.. 3 more containers a 12x14 crate and 3 more flatbed loads of smaller crates were all going on that plane at the same time. 8 truck loads all together.

It was mind boggling to think about the weight and amount of space all the cargo would take up.

Your thinking of Bullwinkle and Rockie. If I named my truck Boris.. my trailer would have to be Natasha.. proper name for the a55 end.

Actual I call my truck Fred. Never thought about naming the trailer.

These loads required pre and post loaded scale tickets to ensure the weight was correct. Mine wasnt too heavy. Some kind of water filtration system inside the container. With the container I had roughly 33k lbs on my bed. Not too heavy.

But yeah,.. load that plane wrong and all kinds of bad ish can go wrong. They were taking everything to Morocco then it was going by ship to somewhere in North Africa.

The other drivers and I were joking around because they had 8 big spare tires on the inside wall of the plane. The one guy working the plane who did speak english said it wasnt uncommon to blow several tires on landing at some of the places they go.

Google plane crash at Bagram. That's what happens. I've been on that road. Years later I was talking to an airforce pilot and he said the leading suspicion was the load shifted during take off.

Sorry no link. I couldn't figure out how to get it on here from YouTube with my phone.
