I hate going to the store anymore for anything that I can wait the two days for. Hell I've even bought truck parts on Amazon.

I was reading an article about Amazon about how they control a lot of new product success because they have a almost monopoly on online shopping.

They dictate what products pop up in searches.

It's time they face some competition. I've been wondering how they will affect the OTR business.

We do the same thing. I'd say 95% of all my car parts and go fast goodies are ordered online. We have not done any Christmas shopping at retail stores since 2004 or 2005.

And within the last 2 or 3 years, other than fresh vegetables, meats, ice cream sort of things,.. she gets most everything delivered to the house for less than what it costs at the store. Unless we need to have it at that moment,. or we can find it cheaper at the store,. we rarely leave the house to buy anything. Flea Markets and swap meets are about the only things we like to go out to any more. I hate going into a Walmart or grocery store any more. Over priced and time consuming, especially trying to get through the check line with out busting a blood vessel.

I suspect many other people are starting to follow this trend as well. Big retail stores have their work cut out if they expect to survive.

I'm with you there. She handles the domestic side of things. I havent been inside a fitting room to try on clothes in well over 10 yrs. She buys a lot online,.. if I dont like it she sends it back for something else or if it was something cheap we just donate it. Only I dont have to give her any money. She has her own. Win. :)
