Got a pplan tonight. Has anyone else gotten a pplan that was scheduled to deliver before hometime is done? Truck is at the nearest TS, about 20 miles away from the house. How is the best to handle this?

Ignore it. You're on hometime right? Chances are they yanked it from you already anyway.

And/or call your dm ... let them know the planners may want to pull that preplan.

Wouldn't even do that myself, hometime is your time.

It happens, I just keep doing my home thing. If they really do not know you are home and off, the phone will ring.

Somebody forgot to set your PTA out for your hometime. Did you go back to the truck and fire it up or did you see the preplan on your text message? I was on hometime recently, went back to the truck to get some things off, fired it up and boom preplans started coming in a few hours later on the cell phone. Something about these Elogs I tell ya....

Always had jobs where I worked/was available 24/7 365 ... Only takes a minute and is an investment that maintains a postive relationship with your DM.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

I sometimes get a pplan while on home time as well.

If it is one that I can pick up after I am back on duty I call my DM to accept it.
If not, I either ignore it or call my DM to let him know I am on home time and can't accept it.
