Thats what I told the wife.:biggrin_2559: No more drivin.

Yeah, I'm gonna call my sis-in-law first, but if thats a no-go I will check w/ a lawyer. I know that if u go in front of the magistrate they will knock it in half at least, so we'll see.

Thank for the advise and yeah, BIG relief.

The long form is around 9 pages that your doc fills out. He should have given it to you at the time of your visit, or will mail it. Should have it with you, as the company needs to have a copy of that in their file.

I never saw anything like that. Is it a federal or a state thing? My company just sent me to the DR and I walked out with my card.

    :biggrin_2559:LOL......Thanks.

Btw... just e-mailed the recruiter, med card or not, you still have to have a physical down there so it don't really matter if I bring mine or not.

    Lilbit Thanks this.

Yep, Prime does require you to re-do the physical.

Two more questions. Does anyone know if Prime can put you into contact with whomever will be your trainer, that way we can talk about what I need to bring?

And, after training, does anyone carry a tazer or something? How do you stay safe out there?

You won't know who your instructor is until you pass the CDL skills test and are ready to hit the road.

After getting through the application process and once your recruiter tells you that you've been approved for orientation, he/she will email you with a list of items to bring.

Hint: Leave the kitchen sink at home as there won't be enough room for it on the truck. :biggrin_25525:

Clothes, shower shoes, toiletries, duffle bag, sleeping bag, pillow, work gloves, small flashlight, birth certificate, hard copy of cdl permit (If you already have your permit, they won't accept the paper copy.), all documentation that you used when you filled out the online application (You will have to fill out a paper application during orientation. All info on online app and paper app have to match.)

Pack light in a soft sided duffle. There's a WallyWorld between the terminal and the Campus Inn, so you can grab anything you forget. Your recruiter should have a list, but have a separate bag for your toilet kit, shower clogs, sleeping bag, pillow, and don't forget some warmer clothes too... you're going to be getting into colder weather.

No weapons are allowed on Prime trucks or in the terminals. Hey... you're gonna be a trucker bud - they're scared of us! Tire thumper works. A dry chemical fire extinguisher emptied in the face will put down anyone.
