I work for myself , keeps me buisy along with my 2 sons and nephew with a total of 7 trucks and 18 trailers. Mix of Dry , Reefer Flat Low and Step

Your CUSTOMER's tell you what to do and do not blow smoke about it , theres not that much GOOD PAYING , big $ contacts or contracts out there for the taking that you tell your customers to STUFF IT if its not to your liking:biggrin_25515:.

Thats true but you and I understand that aspect of being O/O's or small fleet owners but seems a few others OVERDOSED on BJ & THE BEAR RERUNS.

Think of it how you want but my boss is at home with the kid. I do not haul cheap freight, I dead head, when there is no good freight. I work for agents that know not to even tell me about the cheap stuff they have or the $2/mile freight into freightless Pa, NJ, NYC, or new england. I guess I just have a different look at things.

Do not see me pulling your so called CHEAP freight or the $2.00 NE Freight.

I have a fill in load on my flatbed to take to Montreal Quebec Monday $4.28 / mile , my return load is $5.15 / mile + $200.00 for tarping / untarping. And a repeat of this for Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday and oh yes Friday.

So you might say your not the ONLY one with a different look , and for me it was my wife ( not my BOSS nor am I hers ) was at home with the children.

You are wrong the company I work for is a great one:yes2557:. As for the others like ours, I would never work for them. I am an O/O, they cant make me take a load, but I very seldom turn a load down.
