Pulled out of class. What next?

I past all 5 cdl test at the dps but texas lone star college pulled me out of class because they said it was taking some time for my drug test to return.( I'm drug free) Finally they called me to tell me that I passed my drug test and that I only have 2 more weeks of class but class is full and they don't know when to let me return. What the heck!?!? My permit expires in 60 days right? And there making me go 6 to 7 weeks without working! So? Should I find another trucking company that's not connected to texas lonestar college? But most definitely, I gotta work asap and return some other day, possibly retaking the dps exams, my bills are coming at me hard.......

 

If you want to drive a truck go where you can and get your cdl and get to work

 

I would demand a full refund.... They should not have pulled you from the class unless your results came back positive. Honestly-pay an attorney 100$ for 30min of his time, and have him call and light them up on your behalf.

You only have 2 weeks left? I would give em a day or 3 to be safe. You start over somewhere else and they will probably make you go through the entire program again. They usually want you to jump through their specific hoops where ever you go.

 

The problem is that I'm not working at all and as of today, I stepped in that class 4 weeks ago, I should have finished already, so I have to add 2 more weeks of training plus 1 more week to see a paycheck. I think IMA have to go get a job somewhere and maybe return another day to start all over. 7 weeks without working is tuff

 

Yea its definitely messed up how their treating you. Just have to look at the situation from a clear mathematical point of view. What gets you paid fastest. The shortest cdl schools I’ve heard of are 3 weeks long. If your finance can't hold out though, what can you do?

 

Yes, I was good at holding out 3 weeks but I can not do 7 weeks and my permit might expire by then.
