Ya, this winter was bad. The signs were always on for the overheight. Most companies are too cheap to remove snow from trucks traiLers. I liked walmart for that. They wouldn't let their drivers roll with snow. $250 per trailer to shovel off snow. Used to make a killing on that

I think paying that extra money to get them cleaned off is great for the long run.

This can be and will be debated for years, as to who HAS to shovel the snow, the drivers, the company, etc, etc.

snow removal has been a big discussion for a long time now. As I near closer and closer to retirement, and being a New Englander (not that location really means anything) but being a grouchy old man (that does it for me), I KNOW how to tell some one to eff off if I am ever told to shovel snow off my equipment. If I don't OWN IT, I ain't shoveling it...PERIOD.

I OWN a home, THAT I am responsible for.

I can take retirement any day now,

ok, I'll wait till next winter.

Lol. I don't work for walmart. They called company I would go out. Each trailer takes less than an hr.

Start counting trailers, then multiply by 250

I agree. What I meant is if the company owns the equipment they should pay for someone to clean it off for the drivers. To ensure all safety is covered. I respect you guys too much and you guys deal with enough #### hence, why it should be provided in such instances.

    I know what you meant.

But the snow removal BS will continue forever. I think that what all these snow belt states ought to do is, install those snow blade's at every rest area, and have the trucks pull in to be cleaned, to adhere to snow removal law's, THEN like a toll, a nominal fee paid, maybe even using ex-pass..????

    just a thought,
