Sure thing. But what about the ones leaving terminals or side of road. I will take a ladder and clean trailer if company pays me enough money. I like mlney

Ok see here comes some discussion on snow removal, soon the debates will ensue.

I like money as well, but NOT at the cost of me falling either from the ladder or the top of the trailer. What I have found and learned (actually learned more than found) over the years is that with life and health being only as good as the moment, why should I risk life and limb, to avoid a ticket, fine, etc, all because some dick weed politician has a few voters complaining about anything??

We have city ordinances here as well as I'd surmise Boston does, that (here), after 4 hours of a snow storm, YOU MUST clear off your sidewalk, "OR ELSE".!!

You get fined...ok, now follow me here....

My city was ON THE NEWS, for NOT clearing ANY SNOW off the sidewalks of some over passes, which found, THEY WERE responsible for doing so.!

After the news broke, oh yeah, city clears snow, TILL THE NEXT storm, here we go again..>!!

Why MUST WE follow the laws/ordinance's, when our cities simply do not.???

    Shouldn't they LEAD BY EXAMPLE..???

True. Look at our city that was also on the news. We were basically called a lost cause and the way officials handled snow removal over here was disgusting.

I know, saw on the news, the trash in those big piles of snow.

To be honest, and not defending ANY city, town, or state, we all got hammered way to hard this past winter. Some snow removal budgets were exhausted after the FIRST storm..!!

What I have always said was, if they do not use the entire snow budget, then for gosh sakes, PUY IT into the bank, grow some interest, then the following year ADD MORE money, and if not all used up, bank that as well.>!!

BUT NOOOO...that makes too much sense.

Ok, case in point. We had the Pawtucket RI bridge replaced.

trucking companies were fined "up to" the original $5,000 fine for crossing. (Then I think it got reduced to $3,000).

DO you think all that fine money (nearly $15 MILLION dollars) went to the cost of the repairs..??

HELL NO, it went into the state "General fund"....!!!

Now my goofyner, wants to toll truckers ONLY..????

Do you realistically think THAT money will go for the new bridges we need,.,???

Hell no (I say), it'll find it's way to yet MORE dick weed politicians for thier own special interests expenditures,,,,

Just as long as no consumption of baked beans are involved.

Then you poke at your own risk.

Which is exactly what I had for dinner last night, a can Of Bushes Boston baked bans, and hot dogs.
